ANCIENT GREEK AND ROMAN STUDIES Ancient Greek and Roman Studies graduate study, housed within Brandeis’
Classical Studies Department, provides a thorough understanding and
appreciation of ancient cultures, with a unique application to today’s society.
The program has a strong emphasis on research and communication skills that
enhance marketability in careers in museums, libraries, education, and
journalism. The program can also be used as a stepping-stone to a PhD in
related areas.
