What’s Happening At Georges Vanier Cool projects are going on at George Vanier! The Grade 7 class are making water towers to compete against each other to see who ever makes the best tower! Good luck to them! POERTY SLAM competition held at the Family of Schools Level. We were awesome! In celebration of our First Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald’s special birthday, our Family of Schools will be hosting a contest for junior and intermediate students. Speeches and Spoken Word will be the format for those who wish to enter. Virtue of the month assembly Intermediate Basketball On Thursday Feb 26th Mrs. Esposito’s/ Mrs. D’ Onofrio’s class put on the virtue of the month assembly for the virtue of Respect. It involved songs, skits and readings all about Respect. All the students did great and I can’t wait till the next one! With the Jr basketball season over, its time for the Intermediate boys and girls to show their skills. Tryouts started this week and the teams will be picked by Monday March 2nd.
