Virtue of the Month: Self-Control is regulating your thoughts and actions so that you stop any pressures from within or
without and act the way you know and feel is right. Developing loving habits helps us to respond lovingly to others in our choices and
actions. God wants us do what we know and feel is right.
We will be celebrating the virtue of Self-Control as a school community on Thursday, January 29 @ 9:30 a.m. in our gymnasium

Lord, in the morning as we start this day,
We take a moment to bow and pray.
We start with thanks,

DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
Now that much colder weather is upon us, we respectfully remind you to ensure that your children come to school dressed
warmly to participate in recess activities. When weather conditions are severe, we may reduce the outdoor playtime, or have
indoor recess entirely. Fresh air and exercise are vital components for successful learning, so we will endeavour to have children play outside
whenever possible. Help your children come to school appropriately dressed with scarves, hats and mittens on those really chilly days!
For health and safety reasons and to help keep the school safe and clean, we ask all students to have indoor shoes.
Thank you for your support in this matter.
