Advent Prayer Dear God,
At this Christmas season, please open my heart. May I learn to be a giver, not a taker, for only thus can
I feel Blessed. Make of me an instrument of your peace, that peace might fill my world. May Your abundant mercy touch my life. May my heart
so give and so receive as to expand to touch the stars. May I so learn to live with love, that I might know of heavenly bliss while still on earth.
May the miracle of Christmas be a miracle in my heart.

Intramurals for primary/junior students
We have set up our HAT and MITTEN tree in our front foyer. We will be
collecting mittens, hats and scarfs to decorate the tree for the next four
weeks. We will then be using these items to help students, in our school,
stay warm during the winter months.

Kindergarten registration for the 2014-15 school year, will be held at all Georges Vanier
School on the following dates:
January 27* from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
January 29, 30, 31 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
*Snow Date: January 28 - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Our Kiss ‘N Ride program needs a few reminders in order for the process to run smoothly and keep everyone safe. Please make sure you are always
following the rules of Kiss ‘N Ride.
1. Exit the vehicle only on the right-hand passenger side. To exit out the left side is very, very
dangerous as thru traffic passes (sometimes quickly) on the left drive-thru lane.
2. DO NOT PARK OR LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE in the Kiss ‘N Ride lanes, even if only for a few seconds.
3. If at the end of the day your child does not exit the building, please do not leave your car in the Kiss ‘N Ride lane to investigate. Park the car and we will be happy to assist you in
the office.
