Boys’ Cross Country
The boys XC team finished 2nd in the Blue Division at the U Wanna Come Back Invitational at Madison,
11 points behind Painesville Riverside. Many of the boys set new personal records, and the varsity
runners ran in a tight pack, all finishing within one minute of each other. Running varsity for the
Demons were:
Junior Gavin Kelly, 3rd place- 17:51
Junior Evan Milovich, 14th place- 18:26 (New PR)
Junior Ian Hulse, 15th place- 18:27 (New PR)

Also setting new PRs were Sophomore Alex Barth (20:13), Senior Ben Fritz (21:20), Sophomore Alex

Meet: Madison “U Wanna Come Back” Invitational (Perry outdoor YMCA)

Notes:
Running at the Madison “U Wanna Come Back” Invitational for the first time in team history, the girls
ran away with the team championship by placing five girls in the top 14.
Underclassmen Robyn Hageman, Grace Jenkins, Madeline Lee, and Morgan Hansen packed together for
the entire race as all finished in the top 11 while freshman Michelle Appel was close behind with a 14th
place finish to round out the scoring for the team.
The second group to cross the finish line were guided by senior captain Nora Lee who led a pack
including Lucia del Rincon Martinez, Jasmine Welch, and Rachel Collins to new 5K PR’s.
Joining them in PR’s included Maya Bauer, Julie Appel, Gina Campo, Taylor Hood, Leah Franklin, Emma
Franklin, Allison Veide, Rose Dornon, Stephanie Buza, Stephanie Voiers, Katirina Packis, Michelle
Adamczyk, Savannah Potter, and Maddie Evans.
