Girls Golf (11-4, 6-4 SWC) 2nd place SWC!
The Girls golf team finished 2nd in the SWC Tournament last week at Legacy/Sweetbriar to clinch 2nd
place in the conference. The girls slogged through the mud and rain ! Congrats girls!

W vs. Olmsted Falls, 26-6. For the first time in 20 years, the Demons defeat Olmsted Falls before a huge
homecoming crowd. Logan Paul paced the offense with 140 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns and Shaun
Turk recorded 2 interceptions for the stifling Demon Defense!

Boys’ Cross Country
The Boys Cross Country team finished 19th out of 20 teams at the Fleet Feet Strongsville Invitational on
Saturday.
Leading the way for the Demons was Evan Milovich in 17:55, followed by Nick Irwin in 18:18 and Ian
Hulse in 18:20. Nick Irwin ran a personal best time for the fourth week in a row. Rounding out the
scoring were Gavin Kelly (18:42) and Rami Kalash (18:47). Other runners setting new PRs this week were
Brian Hood (19:53), Ben Fritz (20:11), Anthony Trujillo (20:48), Alex Chiriac (21:07), Nico DiGuilio (22:48),
Makis Beach (22:53), Seamus Dunphy (23:06), and Owen Kruger (24:38).
Girls’ Cross Country
The girls cross country team won the Vermilion Invitational this weekend with Robyn Hageman leading
the way with a 3rd place overall finish. Morgan Hansen, Grace Jenkins, and Madeline Lee all finished in
the top 10 while Nora Lee finished out the scoring for the team. Michelle Appel and Julie Appel rounded
out the Varsity team.
The girls also won the JV race as Rachel Collins led the way and was followed close behind by Jasmine
Welch, Gina Campo, Hannah McCarthy, and Ingrid Wagner.

Lauren Golick (first singles), Julia Dunbar (second singles), Paavani Reddy (third singles) all took first
place.
Lyndsey Golick and Melissa Djohan took first in first doubles and Amanda Jaros and Erin Tanker took 2nd
in second doubles.

Finished 3rd in the SWC JV tournament.
Tricia King was first at first singles
Nura Ali was first at second singles;
Sarah Randar was third at third singles.
Jordan Martin and Grace Yun finished 5th at first doubles
Emma Steinman and Maahi Mistry finished fourth at second doubles.

Digging it out in the back row was Kate Pavilonis, Katie Hahn, Carla Baaklini and Kelsey Farr. Running a
clinic on blocking was Jane Fitz, Maddie May and Guz. Slamming the ball in the Shoregals court was
Isabella Lucarelli, Molly Hundt, Emily Malloy and Guz. Incredible serving came from Megan Fleming and
Eileen Guzik and Maddie Fleming lead the team in scoring with 25 points
Boys Cross Country
The boys did awesome this weekend.
They took 7th out of 22 and almost everyone got their personal best!
