Culminating Task – Solutions Presentation
Now that you have finished your secondary research on your research essay you will be performing your own research.
Your task is to now:
1) Develop your hypothesis - This will be the same as your thesis from your essay for example
“The media influences eating disorders”
2) Now you are going to prove this with primary research, a survey that will be handed out to Campion students to
prove your hypothesis.
-Your survey will need 10 questions in multiple choice, true or false or rank this statement form so this information
can be tallied and analyzed
-These should be handed out to students and collected

Go to Layout to insert title, legend, etc…
When done Copy and paste your graph to word and write a couple sentences explaining how this graph proves
your hypothesis
4) Crossroads – Makes sure all your questions and results prove your hypothesis
5)Present the Results and generalize – You will be required to present your results in a presentation. You will be
including all the information that you have learned from both Primary research (surveys and graphs) and Secondary
research (information from your essay). Remember your main goal is to prove your hypothesis for example “The media
influences eating disorders”. You will also be required to make future recommendations by looking at ONE theory
learned in class, for example Erik Erikson, Maslow, Piaget, conditioning, functionalist and develop a solution. Be sure to
be creative by including a balance of text, graphs, and graphics to catch the reader’s attention.
