Live With Kindness “With every person we engage, in
Everything we do, we must be kinder than expected, more
generous than anticipated, more positive than we think
possible. Every moment In front of another human being is
an opportunity to express our highest values and to influence
someone with our humanity, we can make the world better,
one person at a time” Robin Sharma

The Family that Prays
Together
Stays
Together
It is the
Greatest
responsibility of any
parent to instill in their
children a love of God
and to teach them how
to pray. The most
effective way is by
praying with the child.
When you do so, you
are engaging in family
prayer. The most
powerful and highly
recommended prayer is
the Rosary. Pope John
Paul II said” As a prayer
for peace, the Rosary is
also and always has
been a prayer of and for
family”

St. Patrick's R.C. Church and Cemetery is located on the S/E corner of The Gore and Mayfield Roads in
Brampton. In 1834, 200 acres were deed to the trust of St. Patrick's Parish with the N/W corner being
designated as a cemetery. The rest of the property was used as a farm to educate orphaned boys . The
present day church on the property was built by Father Francis McSpirit in 1894. The parish is still active,
but the cemetery is only open to those who have family plots. The parish is home to 5 of our Catholic
community schools including Our Lady of Lourdes. This site is a designated heritage site by the Brampton
