Data Sheet Cisco Network Optimization Service: Risk Assessment With every advancement in technology, you become more dependent on your network for communication, collaboration, and innovation. As your business grows, Cisco can help you maintain good network health, so you can realize the full value of your investment. Your next-generation network requires a reliable infrastructure that performs near peak ability and availability at all times. But as you adopt new business processes, applications, and technologies, it can be difficult to maintain a stable and optimized network. ® The Cisco Network Optimization Service: Risk Assessment is an introductory offer designed to assess and identify areas that can negatively impact your network performance and business objectives. The service taps into the knowledge and expertise of Cisco engineers to help make your network more resilient, more reliable, and well primed for peak performance. Ongoing, best-in-class customers use Cisco tools and optimization offers, such as Network Optimization Service: Risk Mitigation (which is the follow up offer to Risk Assessment), as an optimization subscription service to help manage their networks, make better infrastructure decisions, and maximize business outcomes related to IT. Using proven methodologies and tools, we perform a thorough assessment of risks to your network’s underlying infrastructure, including hardware, software, network topology and design, and protocol and configuration resiliency. As part of the evaluation process, we will compare your network with industry-leading practices and identify any gaps. After the analysis is complete, we identify and prioritize areas of risk and provide a set of high-level recommendations for improving your network’s resiliency, availability, and performance. We also provide recommendations on how to update conflicting, dated, and missing configurations. The Cisco Network Optimization Service: Risk Assessment can: ● Identify risks that can slow your ability to introduce new network services ● Improve alignment of IT with business objectives and strategies ● Improve service experience through effective configuration and change management ● Strengthen your ability to predict and control network behaviors ● Improve business continuity, moving from reactive support model to proactive support model © 2015 Cisco and/or its affiliates.
