Developing and Publishing Web Documents
Send me (plspike@iastate.edu) address of your homepage when you are finished. Use “AnS 440
homework” as the subject of your mail message.
1. Create a homepage for yourself. The page should be nicely formatted and be informative about
you and your interests. Send me the URL for your homepage when you have completed the
assignment. Your homepage should include an example of each of the following as a minimum.

Text that varies in size, color and boldness
A text link to another page.
A background image and/or color for at least one page.
A graphic illustration such as a picture.
An imagemap with at least two links.
A live link to your e-mail.
A link to a portable document format (.pdf) file(s) that contains your resume. (You will
probably create your resume and subsequently a .pdf file in Word.)
h. A link to a PowerPoint slide set that you created about a topic of interest to you. The
slide set should be at least 6 slides and converted to web format for viewing in a web
browser.
