LEARNING PEACEFUL SOLUTIONS
A group of Westlake High School students joined other area schools at the Beck
Center for the Arts last month to learn how to create peaceful solutions through
the arts.
The Peaceful Solutions program is a one-day workshop at the Beck Center in
Lakewood that includes opportunities for students to write songs, play
instruments, paint, mold with clay and learn how cultural arts can have a
positive impact on their lives and society.
WHS participants were Zac Duffield, Jillian Eddy, Haleigh Harper, David
Wanhainen, Abigail Sperli, Paola Del Rincon Martinez, Lori Uger, Bayanne Farraj,
Sydney Chatterton and Carolyn Bedell.
