ACADEMIC CHALLENGE TEAMS FINISH 1ST IN
NATION
Both the Westlake High School and Lee Burneson Middle School Academic
Challenge teams finished first in the nation in the Questions Unlimited Fall 3-2-1
online competitions.
The WHS team competed against 149 schools from across the country, while the
middle school team competed against 62 teams over the past two weeks. The
teams are coached by John and Sandy Packis.
3-2-1 is an online competition with each match consisting of a series of questions
in pyramid format. Middle school teams answer 156 questions, while the high
school teams answer 240 questions. The competitions are run by Questions
Unlimited.
