FIRST FRIDAY
June 6th
The Feast of Pentecost
The Blessed Sacrament will be
exposed all day in Church. Come
and spend some time with Jesus.
Sunday, June 8th
On this day we reflect on the birth of the Church and the
continued presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The third Person of the Holy Trinity gave the first
disciples the boldness to go out to the world baptizing all
peoples, so as to bring them into the splendor of
communion with the Body of Christ.
We congratulate our 2014 Confirmandi!
Prayer of Confirmation
All powerful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by water and the Holy Spirit you freed your sons and
daughters from sin and gave them new life.
Send your Holy Spirit upon them to be their Helper
and Guide. Give them the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of right judgement and
courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence. Fill them
with the spirit of wonder and awe in your presence.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
