This is an annual standard set of reports for employees that are eligible for the retirement plans. Xavier University is
required to annually provide you with these reports; however no action is required of you. The reports are for
informational purposes. The list below is a summary of the content provided.

SUMMARY ANNUAL REPORT
For Xavier University Defined Contribution Retirement Plan
This is a summary of the annual report for Xavier University Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, EIN 31-0537516, Plan
No. 001, for period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The annual report has been filed with the Employee
Benefits Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor, as required under the Employee Retirement Income Security
Act of 1974 (ERISA).
Basic Financial Statement
Benefits under the plan are provided by insurance and a trust fund. Plan expenses were $12,500,778. These expenses
included $5,734 in administrative expenses, and $12,495,044 in benefits paid to participants and beneficiaries. A total of
1,792 persons were participants in or beneficiaries of the plan at the end of the plan year, although not all of these
persons had yet earned the right to receive benefits.
The value of plan assets, after subtracting liabilities of the plan, was $188,993,777 as of December 31, 2014, compared
to $182,570,669 as of January 1, 2014. During the plan year the plan experienced an increase in its net assets of
$6,423,108. This increase includes unrealized appreciation and depreciation in the value of plan assets; that is, the
difference between the value of the plan's assets at the end of the year and the value of the assets at the beginning of
the year or the cost of assets acquired during the year. The plan had total income of $18,923,886, including employer
contributions of $5,127,574, employee contributions of $2,547,492, other contributions of $87,608, earnings from
investments of $11,097,316, and other income of $63,896.

 Insurance information, including sales commissions paid by insurance carriers;

entities in which the plan participates;

statements and accompanying notes will be included as part of that report. The charge to cover copying costs given
above does not include a charge for the copying of these portions of the report because these portions are furnished
without charge.

SUMMARY ANNUAL REPORT
For Xavier University Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan
This is a summary of the annual report for Xavier University Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan, EIN 31-0537516, Plan No.
002, for period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The annual report has been filed with the Employee
Benefits Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor, as required under the Employee Retirement Income
Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).
Basic Financial Statement
Benefits under the plan are provided by insurance and a trust fund. Plan expenses were $3,119,081. These
expenses included $3,119,081 in benefits paid to participants and beneficiaries. A total of 600 persons were
participants in or beneficiaries of the plan at the end of the plan year, although not all of these persons had yet
earned the right to receive benefits.
The value of plan assets, after subtracting liabilities of the plan, was $47,414,552 as of December 31, 2014,
compared to $43,328,645 as of January 01, 2014. During the plan year the plan experienced an increase in its net
assets of $4,085,907. This increase includes unrealized appreciation and depreciation in the value of plan assets;
that is, the difference between the value of the plan's assets at the end of the year and the value of the assets at
the beginning of the year or the cost of assets acquired during the year. The plan had total income of $7,204,988,
including employee contributions of $2,291,223, other contributions of $2,324,746, earnings from investments of
$2,573,540, and other income of $15,479.
