Re: Letter from the Rosary Apostolates
Dear Parents,
The Rosary Apostolates are looking for individuals who are practicing Catholics and who
have a dear love of our Mother Mary. You will need to commit to 2 hours of your time
and faith each month for a total of 8 rosary visits. The RA program runs from Oct to May
of each school year. You will go in as a team and pray the rosary with all classes (from JK
to Gr. 8). The dates have already been assigned and almost all rosary visits fall on the
last Wednesday of each month.
The RA will provide training and orientation in the classrooms. All materials needed for
your presentations will be provided too.
This year Pope Benedict XVI has declared the year of faith (from Oct 11th to Nov24th,
2103). He is asking all of us as Catholics to ‘rediscover our faith’. The RA is reaching out
to the staff and students of our schools to renew our beliefs as Catholics and all the
themes are based on the summary of our faith as Catholics: The Apostles Creed.
The Rosary Apostolates has already begun their visits in other schools and hence do not
have enough rosary visitors to reach out to another school. They are still in need of 3
rosary visitors for Our Lady of Mercy School. So please, they are depending on your help
to recruit at least 3 volunteers.
The dates will be as follows: Wed Nov 7 (2hrs), Wed Nov 28, Wed Dec 19 ,Wed Jan 30, Wed
Feb 27, Wed Mar 27, Wed Apr 24 ,Mon May 6 (Rehearsal), Tue May 7 Crowning of Mary
