Advent community celebration - activities being planned in cooperation with Holy Family Church
(incl. advent mass) o Started up a choir – approx. 106 children o Dec. 8 th

JR / SR kindergarten o planning daytime concerts – schedule to follow o Also planning trip to seniors home
Allergy Awareness Committee o Discussion of impacts to students when celebratory foods brought to school – sometimes it becomes disruptive o In New Year will be restricting birthday celebration contributions to be limited to non-food items – policy to be developed o Discussed concerns related to allergy and lack of parental notice / consent for children in the classroom
Pastoral Plan provided
Grade 6 going forward with DARE program – information and confirmation to follow

Concern raised re: hot lunches – at times what being ordered is not what being received -

Pizza lunches o Require volunteers on pizza days o Any parents interested in being volunteers welcome o 6 pizza days scheduled
Pennies for the library o Penny rolls starting to come in o Will send out another letter in December to remind parents o Draw to be done on December 16 th
