Literacy This week we are learning how to compare and contrast. While student usually do a very good job of telling how two things are the same and different, they tend to struggle with understanding the proper comparing and contrasting vocabulary. Science This week we are beginning a long-term experiment to demonstrate how to reduce erosion. After we set that up, we will be moving onto learning about different forms of water on Earth. We will learn about waterfalls, lakes, rivers, oceans, ponds, and gulfs. Talk to your child about a time the visited one of these bodies of water.
