A Prayer For The New Year...
Principal: C. Duke
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be

ourselves and to forgive one another.

As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and our
deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that comes from
doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about
the future and the past, so that we might live in peace with you
now, one day at a time.

Inclement Weather Procedures
In the event of snowstorms which prevent safe
travel, please listen to the radio and television
stations listed on the insert in this newsletter for
announcements about bus transportation and
school closures, usually beginning about
6:30 a.m.
Bus cancellation updates can be accessed at:
www.busmonitor.com
Buses that do not run in the morning do not
run in the afternoon. If you drive your bus
student to school on a day when the buses are
cancelled, you are responsible for providing
transportation home as well.
If school closures are not announced but you
choose to keep your child home during extreme
weather, please call the Attendance Line and
leave a message.

Principal’s Message
Welcome back everyone. We hope you had a wonderful
Christmas and a Happy New Year. A special thanks for all
your thoughtful wishes and gifts prior to the holidays. Our
whole school Advent Mass was memorable and the children
sung beautifully. As always we are thankful to have had
Father Mario lead our mass. We would also like to thank
our FDK staff for organizing our special Kindergarten
Advent Mass Celebration. It was wonderful to see so many
parents attend.
January is a time of new beginnings, fresh starts and
reflections. What are your hopes for 2015 and how will
you make a difference in the lives of others? We wish
everyone a happy new year and pray for a year of
happiness, faith, love and good health. We would like to
extend our sincerest thanks to all those families and
community members who made contributions this season
to our Angel Tree and Christmas baskets. You truly made
a difference to many families in need of support.
Sincerely, Mrs. Duke
