The 17th meeting of the 8th Senate of the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky
University was called to order at 5:07 p.m. on February 16, 2010 with the Speaker of the Senate in the
chair.
There were 24 senators present.
Absent were Senators Huntsman, Powell, Brown, Gafford, Bell, Antle

The rally in Frankfort last Tuesday was canceled. It’s back on a week from today. It’s a really
important thing that we’re doing this year.
We’re leaving at 9 a.m.
The keynote speaker is Colton Jesse.
The parking forums are going on. You probably saw it in an e-mail.

They’re looking at a lot of different financial models for putting the new parking garage.
There’s also talks about putting a hotel next to it.
