President- Nicki Seay: Elections are now in progress, so if you haven’t voted please do so
before midnight tomorrow. We will have an election results party in the Senate Chambers
tomorrow at midnight. The committee meetings for the Board of Regents are this Friday. Dr.
Minter will not be seeking re-election as faculty regent. The Faculty Welfare Committee has an
open seat. Also, the Board of Student Body Presidents has approved a petition for increased
funding for higher education.
EVP- Nolan Miles: We need a representative for this Friday’s meeting of the Police Task Force
Safe Community at 2pm. The Food Advisory Committee needs representatives and presents an
excellent opportunity to impact food and menus on campus. On December 3rd we will have our
annual Dining with Decision Makers. Good job to all of you campaigning!
AVP- Liz Koehler: Organizational Aid packets have been released and are online. We will start
interviews next week.
Speaker of the Senate- Jay Todd Richey: If you miss a senate meeting, please visit our
webpage to fill out an excused absence form.
Chief of Staff- Seth Church: The Diversity Enhancement Committee conducted a survey last
year which will be released to the public soon. We also have SGA laptops that students can rent
now.
Director of Public Relations- KJ Hall: We were able to participate in Project Affect last week
which presented a great PR opportunity. Elections are happening now so please spread the word
on that.
Director of Academic and Student Affairs- Barrett Greenwell: No report.
Director of Information Technology- Sarah Hazelip: No report.
Academic Affairs- Josh Knight: Our bill for Study Away Scholarships is up for first read, so
please take a look at that.
Campus Improvements- Tyler Scaff: We have four bills up for second read. We have arranged
a meeting for commuters to meet with the PTS Administration at 1pm. We are also looking at
handicap accessibility to campus buildings. Also, every Thursday from 3-5pm we have the
opportunity to manage our plot at the community garden hosted by the Office of Sustainability.
Legislative Research- Paige Settles: We are currently doing legislative research for next week’s
bills.
Public Relations- James Line: No report.
Student Affairs- Kasey Glasgow: No report.

Sarah Hazelip and Nicki Seay voiced their opinions on today’s bills.
