“My Values” Assignment Parts One & Two
Life requires preparations and planning, proper skills and tools. Since you are constantly being influenced by people and
circumstances, you need to make good choices. To make good choices, you need to know what is right for you by being
aware of what values are important.
Part One
1. Create an image that incorporates your top 5 values.
2. Your second pages is the written component that has two paragraphs:
a) How do my values influence my career choices? State your career of interest and how each value is
significant in influencing your career choices.
b) Explain your image. (What does you image portray and how does it represent the values?)
Part Two
Research three of the following individuals who have had a great influence on society: Martin Luther King, Bill Gates,
Princess Diana, Bono(U2), Donald Trump, Angeline Jolie, Nelson Mandela, Michael Jordan and document the below
information about their lives.
A) Person’s Name
B) Biographical Information: Date of birth/death, Family life, Where they worked (location), Their
accomplishments, What they did for a living (occupation).
C) List the values important to these individuals.
D) How did/do their personal values reflect their career choices?
