COURSE OUTLINE Department: Course: Course Code: Technological Studies Green Industries - Grade 9 THJ10 Course Description: This exploratory course introduces students to concepts and skills related to the green industries agriculture, forestry, horticulture, floristry, and landscaping. Students will develop an awareness of related environmental and societal issues, and will begin to explore secondary and postsecondary pathways leading to careers in the field. This course helps students to meet the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations by developing one's God-given potential and makes a meaningful contribution to society and by exercising Christian leadership in the achievement of individual and group goals.
