Requirements
● Minimum of 20 hours

● 10 group meetings
● Complete 1 of 2 mandatory group projects

Expected Membership Level
● We have send out a Google form where you
must fill out your expected hours for the year
○ Just an estimate, not a requirement
○ Please be realistic!
○ You MUST meet the hour AND meeting
requirements!
○ If you do not fill out the form, we will assume you do
not intend to complete your hours and you will not
receive membership credit

● If you ordered a t-shirt, please pay and pick
it up ASAP!!
● Extra t-shirts will be sold for $15, first come

This Bar Saves Lives
● If there is enough interest, we will be selling
This Bar Saves Lives granola bars again this
year as a fundraiser

NHS
● Interact and NHS are teaming up to make
sure every event gets enough volunteers
● Will send out links to NHS Doodle Pages
through Remind 101
○ Anyone can sign up, even if you aren’t in NHS
● No double dipping!! If you are in Interact and
NHS, you can only get hours for one club

Thrift Store Volunteering
Help Homeless Women and Children in Your Community
By Volunteering at Our:
Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store – Mundelein, 357 Townline Road
OR
Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store – Palatine, 275 E. Northwest Hwy.
You may help out any weekday after school until 7:00 p.m., or
on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Volunteer duties
include accepting and sorting donations, pricing and displaying
merchandise, sales assistance, customer service, testing
electronics, silk floral arranging, holiday decorating, and so
much more.
