The Academic Resource Department at Iona is responsible for meeting the needs of all learners requiring the collaboration among all partners involved in the learning process. The staff in Academic Resource helps and supports students who are deemed exceptional by Identification, Placement and Review Committee (IPRC) and who are on an Individual Education Plan (IEP).

 Students have access to computers and assistive technology programs such as Text-to-speech software ( Kurzweil 3000,
Read and Write 10), Smart Ideas, Dragon Naturally Speak
