Commericial Scoring Guide
Here is how you will be graded:
21-25 Wow! Beautifully answered. You demonstrate solid understanding of the
language structures by using solid grammar. You have a broad scope of
vocabulary, and you take the initiative to provide beyond the basic information.
Accent and flow are very natural. The audience can tell what product is being
advertised, and audience can understand the spoken French used in the
commercial.
16-20 Well done. Grammatical errors may exist but do not hinder
communication; rich and broad vocabulary. Language is produced slowly, but
correctly. The audience can tell what product is being advertised, and audience
can understand some of the spoken French used in the commercial.
11-15 OK. A lot of grammatical and/or pronunciation errors that at times hinder
communication; a narrow vocabulary base, but no English is used. The audience
can tell what product is being advertised only through props, and audience can
understand some of the spoken French used in the commercial.
6-10 Hmmm. Grammatical errors render communication difficult at times.
Information attempted for each section, but vocabulary scope is narrow. Possibly
even uses English. The audience can tell what product is being advertised only
through props, and audience cannot understand much of the spoken French
used in the commercial.
1-5 Insufficient. Grammatical and/or pronunciation errors render communication
nearly impossible. Vocabulary base nearly non-existent. Little attempt is made to
use the French language in the commercial.
