Band, Orchestra, and Chorus go to
GREAT AMERICA
We’re going! Saturday, May 21nd is the big day. Come one, come all. We’d love to have you join us.
The band, orchestra, and chorus students are going to spend a day at Great America. What a great way to
celebrate the achievements from this year and to enjoy just spending the day together.
The cost per student is $42.00 (also covers transportation on school bus). We will meet at MSN at
9AM, arrive at the park about 10AM, and stay until 6PM. We will return to MSN at about 7:15PM.
As always on these trips, students must be in groups of 4 or more at all times and one person in the group
must have a watch. There will be several mandatory check-in times throughout the day for all students.
If a student would like to stay past 6PM, and has different arrangements to get home, please indicate that
on this form when you return it. All students will check in with us at 6PM – those staying later will be
allowed to go back into the park at that time. Permission to stay past 6PM must be given to the directors
in writing prior to the trip. No responsibility is assumed for those students after 6PM.
So….If you would like to go to Great America with us, bring in the $42.00 by May 3 and have your
parent or guardian sign the slip on the bottom of this page. The park does not give refunds for unused
tickets. Please plan carefully. In the past, this outing was a lot of fun; it will be great to go again this
year!
If you plan to use a season pass – you only owe $7 for transportation. Please note – no season passes
should be purchased on the day of the trip. They must be obtained prior to the trip. This includes photos
for the season passes. We will not schedule time for students to wait in lines to get their photos taken.
Season passes must be in hand before we leave MSN.
Parents – we will need some help on this one. If you are able to chaperone, we could really use you.
