PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY COMPETENCY
EVALUATION
Objective: The student will be able to identify and discuss the meaning
of professional ethics and the ASRT "Code of Ethics" for Radiographers.
(Cc) (Ck) The students will be able to express their feeling on the need
for a professional attitude at all times. (A) The students will identify the
value of the "Code of Ethics". (A)
Before being evaluated, the student will have completed orientation
lectures at the clinical sites and the university.
PASS: The student must obtain a mastery score of 85% or better on a
written test.
FAIL: If a student does not obtain the mastery score on a written test,
s/he will have personalized instruction from the Program Director.
GRADE: The grade given for the Professional Responsibility
Competency will be averaged with the other competency grades which
counts for 75% of the Radiographic Practicum I grade.
NOTE: Five points will be deducted from the total Professional
Responsibility competency grade with each repeat attempt.
