Security directed a driver of a red SUV to park in the parking structure; however, the driver exited the vehicle and began to argue with the security officer. Security began writing the vehicle a ticket but the suspect got into his vehicle and sped off. A student reported that a fellow student in her class was caught rummaging through her purse. A report was taken and directed to the Director of Student Life. Security received a call regarding a green Jeep rolling into another vehicle in parking lot #4. Security responded and found the accident however there was no driver inside the vehicle. The driver of the Jeep showed up on scene and said that he had set the emergency break. The driver of the other vehicle was contacted and insurance paperwork was exchanged between the two parties. Graffiti was located on the exterior wall of the parking structure. No suspects were seen in the area and the graffiti did not appear to be gang related. Security asked a known transient to leave the premises. The transient refused to leave and became confrontational with security. Security 12/4/15 0830 Theft Parking lot #3 eventually was able to get the transient to leave. A Hartnell employee reported to security that his gas had been syphoned out of his vehicle. The employee stated that the gas was syphoned between 0830-1630 hours on 12/3/15. No suspects were seen in the area during that time.
