STR Shanghai Obtains China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) Certificate
STR is proud to announce its Shanghai laboratory has successfully obtained the
certificate of the China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau
of Quality and Technical Supervision (上海市質量技術監督局), effective October 17, 2008
to October 16, 2011.
With this CMA certification status, our Shanghai laboratory is allowed to use the CMA
Mark in its test reports and test certificates within its approved testing scope. Test reports
bearing the CMA Mark are accepted by the Chinese government for evaluation of product
quality, and results contained therein are recognized to be notarial and with legal effect.
CMA is a mandatory accreditation system based on The Law on Metrology of the People’s
Republic of China, offered by the metrological administrative departments of the people's
governments above provincial level, to assess the testing or calibration laboratories on
their abilities of metrological verification, testing and reliability.
