Religious Education and faith formation are rooted in a biblical spirituality and Catholic tradition
The spiritual dimension of the person is an essential factor in every person’s education
The partnership of family, church and school is essential to
Catholic education
Our relationship with God deepens as we come to know Jesus, His
Son in our lives—by the Word of the Lord and by our tradition, thus being transformed as God’s children.

Catholic beliefs and traditions
- at the office, front foyer, halls and in the classrooms.

Virtue Formation
At St. Leonard School we shall work to create and sustain a safe, caring and inclusive school community that includes Catholic virtues education. A priority throughout the year is Catholic Virtue Formation. A virtue is a habit or established capacity to perform good actions according to the moral standards reflected in the gospel. A Catholic school is the ideal place to practice and prepare to live a virtuous life, following the example of Jesus. Faith, Empathy, Conscience, Hope, Self-Control, Respect,
Kindness, Love, Acceptance, and Fairness.
When we act out these virtues, we are making the presence of God visible in the world.
