Resolution on Behalf of Ken Rand
9 December 2014
Whereas, after 28 years of teaching at Hartnell college and 47 total years of instruction,
Whereas, Ken Rand is the creative force behind the Math Academy,
Whereas, Ken Rand can claim incredible student loyalty,
Whereas, Ken Rand has served as a model of personal integrity to colleagues and to
your students, and
Whereas, Ken Rand has been an exemplary example of enthusiasm for math and for
the success of his students,
Be it resolved that the Academic Senate of Hartnell College does both acknowledge
and celebrate the incredible career of one Kenneth Rand.
