Free 1st and 2nd Grades Enrichment Activity!

3:00 p.m.-4:15 p.m. (after school)
All first and second grade students are invited to participate in an after school enrichment program funded
entirely by the Seth Paine PTO. The program, “Weather or Not,” is led by the company, High Touch High
Tech of Chicago. They provide hands-on science experiments to students in local area schools.
Program Description
Weather or Not©
Learn about weather, as we take an up close and hands-on look at a real tornado. Watch as we make
thunder. Discover all the amazing properties of air and air pressure. Touch lightning! Make the conditions
change as we lift ice cubes with a string. Make snow to bring home!
How to Participate
If you would like your child to participate, please sign and return the permission slip by Monday, February
23rd. Only first and second grade students are invited to participate (no siblings please). You must come
into the school to pick up your child, promptly at 4:15 p.m.
