• Apprenticeships: Skilled trades. Information available with Guidance Counsellor

• College (diploma programs) : All programs require English. 65% of programs require Math
(more info at www.ontariocolleges.ca) . You apply beginning in October. They have access to gr.
11 marks and gr. 12 semester 1 midterm marks!
• University: All programs need English. Each program has very specific course requirements.
Students should access ‘eINFO’ at www.electronicinfo.ca. You apply in Nov/Dec
• University admission is based on 6 ‘U’ and ‘M’ courses.
• Grades requirements/course pre-requisites vary depending on programs.
• Ontario universities and colleges have access to your Grade 11 and Grade 12 marks. Most
decisions are based on Grade 12 sem. 1 final and sem. 2 midterm (averages must be
maintained)

You have 5 days after midterm to drop a class for it NOT to
appear on your transcript with a mark

$65 activity fee is due (cash, debit or credit) in February in your
