Kindergarten News
Don’t forget to send in field trip money
($10) and permission form as soon as
possible. We must have the form
tomorrow so that we can plan our trip. If it
is raining or muddy on Friday, Oct. 16th,
then we will reschedule the field trip.
We will leave Temple Hill at 8:00 on Friday
and return at 2:00. Please have your child
wear comfortable shoes and appropriate
clothing.
Important Dates
October
13 – 1st nine weeks ends
13 -Temple Hill night at Zaxby’s
14 -last day to turn in 15 tickets to ride
the Razr
16 – Field trip to Jackson’s Orchard
20--Report Cards being sent home
23- Kindergarten Fun Afternoon (more
info. to come)
30 – Halloween party @ 12:30
November
2 – No School for students

3 – Election day – no school
7 – Fall Festival
Look What’s Happening!
Language Arts – We will be working
with vowels this week. We will be
working on the vowel sounds of i, o,
and oo.
Math – We will be creating sets 0-9 as
well as working in math groups. We
will also learn how to tell time to the
hour.
Science – We are discussing fall and
the many changes that it brings.
Social Studies – We are learning
about Christopher Columbus and his
early exploration of America.

Both Kindergarten classes are asked to
create a basket for the Fall Festival. The
theme is “Pets”. Please send any items
that a dog or cat would love such as pet
food, snacks, toys, etc. It will be
auctioned at the Fall Festival and the
classes receive the money!
