DLSC Report - Nancy Baird reported that there were 52 people in attendance at the February 24
presentations on "York" and the Lewis and Clark expedition. The first book discussion featuring Robert
Penn Warren's World Enough and Time was well received by the 17 people in attendance.
DLPS Report - Brian reported on the progress being made adding the Kentucky documents collection to
TOPCAT. Through a cooperative effort between the Government Document unit, Cataloging, and Serials,
95% of the collection has been added to the database. Work is now beginning on the Federal document
collection.
Painting is continuing in Helm.
A candidate for the position of Coordinator Access Services will be coming for an interview on March 8 .
Development - Heather is planning to meet with Earlene to discuss Corporate memberships.
Electronic Information Report - Elaine distributed the final Bell South Community Internet Workshop
Evaluation, 1999-2001 report.
Web and Virtual Library Report - Haiwang distributed copies of the WKU Libraries' PDA Library Portal
Task Force Time Line. He also gave the Council a demonstration of the PDA library portal.
