VIRTUE OF THE
MONTH
RESPECT
God wants us to
treat all people with
the respect they
deserve.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
PRAYER
Father of Creation whose Son Jesus,
incarnated in time
And whose Spirit enlivens our lives today
May we honour the height of your creation,
the Human Family In every hue that you
chose to give each person of
our Human Family
Jesus, brother of us all
Your prayer to the Father
“that they all may be one”
Through the Holy Spirit
May we witness this Unity of One
Spirit of God in the month of appreciating
The gift of your children of African descent
May we be inspired to see your
kingdom mystery
In one facet of the jewel of our
Human Family’s descent.
AMEN
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
The staff and students at Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic School are committed to embracing
and promoting RESPECT. During the month
of February, we are focusing on what it means to
be respectful. As a staff, we are continuing to
participate in a book study as we read, WITH
ALL DUE RESPECT by Ronald Morrish.
Throughout the year, we will be developing an
action plan that supports our Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic School vision and mission statement.
Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School continues to
focus on three priorities with RESPECT as our
underlying theme:
1. Student and staff safety
2. Student and staff well-being
3. Student success
Thank you to the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic
School community who continue to support our
initiatives, including our Sts. Peter and Paul Safety Initiative. With your continued support, our
Kiss N’ Ride and Drive Through Lanes will be
safe and more efficient.
Our next school faith-based celebration is our
Ash Wednesday Mass and will be celebr ated
on Wednesday, February 10th @ 10:30 AM in
our Sts. Peter and Paul CS gym. Please join us
for this special Lenten celebration!
Many blessings,
Ms. T. Burtnick,
Principal
