Announcements April 13, 2016 Sports School Related Ultimate Frisbee season is here!!!!!!! All students interested in trying out for this year’s team please sign up with Ms. Gazzellone in room 103. Tryouts will be Monday after school on the field. A reminder to girls interested in playing on this year’s softball team. There is a tryout, outside, at Hawthorne at 2:30 on Thursday, April 14. 1 Attention Grade 12 students. This is a very important reminder! If you are currently taking Peel Night school classes or private school classes, please submit a copy of your grades to Guidance by April 15th so that these marks can be updated in OUAC and OCAS. 2
Attention grade 12 students, Are you pursuing post‐secondary studies in the Social Service area, such as teaching, social work, child care, etc? You may be eligible for the Tom Tittel Memorial Award. Deadline to apply for the award is May 22nd. Please see the flyer outside of guidance or see your counsellor for more information. 3 Green Tip of the Day: Remember to bring a refillable water bottle to school with you to take advantage of our two water bottle filling stations. A huge congratulations goes out to our hip hop and contemporary dance teams, who competed yesterday in the Strive High School Dance Competition. Both teams placed well and won emerald awards for their pieces. Great work, mustangs!
