Mrs. Darmanin-Sturgeon welcomed those in attendance and in particular, Mrs. Vitale, our new school Vice
Principal.
Discussed the importance of familiarizing St. Angela Merici community regarding Children’s Mental Health
and resources available to families.
Suggested next Parent Engagement should possibly include community agencies who can inform families as
to the programs and services that may be available to their families.
Shared information on Cashless Schools and enquired as to how we might be able to advocate for this
service in our school. It was determined that it is the Board’s decision and that the Chair could bring this
item forth at a future CCCSC meeting.
Discussed the need to increase volunteer pool in order to minimize pressure on one/two council members
counting money or delivering food etc.
Confirmed that Lunch Lady will continue to accept orders on-line or over the phone only. Mrs. Sturgeon
will inform Raji from Lunch Lady as to the decision and work with her to determine start date.
