HOW TO SEARCH ON THE ELECTRONIC STATE BUSINESS DAILY (ESBD)
The Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) is a website where state agencies post bid opportunities valued at
$25,000 or more. Vendors can view the newest postings for all state agencies, the solicitations of a particular state
agency, or search by type of contract requested. The ESBD is located at: http://esbd.cpa.state.tx.us/

Search’s can be done by agency name or number. The search page automatically defaults to do an
agency name search. Using the drop down bar, scroll and select an agency.

The agency name will be highlighted in the search box. Select go.

The agencies available bid opportunities will be displayed. Select a bid title of interest (ITB
Trombones for school of music)

A synopsis of the solicitation will be displayed. Select the “Package” link. “Packages” are the
solicitation document and solicitation attachments.
