Debbie is Senior Vice President and Retail and Small Business Banking Manager for BB&T’s
Houston and Central Texas Region (Houston, Austin, Bryan/College Station and San Antonio
markets). She leads a team of market leaders in developing financial solutions for both Retail
and Small Business clients through consultative relationship management.
Debbie has over 20 years of banking and lending experience in the Virginia, Maryland and Texas
market and has served in both commercial and retail banking roles.
She holds a BA in History and International Studies from the University of Richmond and
graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2008.
Prior to her relocation to Texas, Debbie served on the Board of Directors for Northern Virginia
Family Service (NVFS) for 11 years including two years as Board Chair. During her tenure on
this board, she helped foster the integration of two non-profit organizations into NVFS.
