A variety of areas are available for exploration such as; Water and Sand tables, Art Area, Nature table, Home Area, Block Area and Puppets, Music and movement activities are Preschool Consultations * offered which include; action songs, rhymes, Yoga and end with Appointment Required stories. Our Preschool Mother Goose Consultant from Peel Children’s Centre is available to meet (Newborn to 12 months) with you to discuss strategies to assist you in your role as a Parents/caregivers and their babies learn songs, early learning parent. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday This program is designed to support activities that promote 8:45-9:30 Indoor Play literacy and numeracy in the home. 9:30-10:00 Outdoor Play Family Story Time (Newborn to six years) Join us for stories, songs and action rhymes! The Family Story Time program is offered in partnership with the Brampton Library and focuses on the six important literacy skills for children to develop reading and writing skills. Workshops Workshops are available throughout the month, they cover literacy, community resources and family support. Outdoors Families are encouraged to dress for outdoor weather including appropriate outerwear, hats and shoes required as we will be having outdoor time. Centre Capacity The centre can accommodate 40 participants, including children, parents and staff due to fire regulations. A sign will be posted to indicate when we are full. We apologize for any inconveniences. Parking Parking is limited in the parking lot.. Families have the option to park on the street in front of the school on the north side. Book Lending Library for Parents/Caregivers Please feel free to browse and/or take out resources for up to one week available in our book lending library for parents/ caregivers. Located in the entry way. Literacy Kits Also available are literacy kits for your child. There are various kits to suit your Childs needs.
