O God,
as light comes from this candle,
may the blessing of Jesus Christ come to us,
warming our hearts and
brightening our way.
May Christ our Savior bring life
into the darkness of this world,
and to us, as we wait for his coming.
Amen

from age to age be our comforter.
You have given us the wonder of time,
blessings in days and nights, seasons and years.
Bless your children at the turning of the year
and fill the months ahead with the bright hope
that is ours in the coming of Christ. You are our God, living and reigning, for ever and
ever……….Amen

life of the school. Students are expected to go outside for
fresh air and exercise. If your child is sick, please keep
him/her at home until they are well. This prevents the risk of
your child spreading their illness throughout the classroom.
There is NO indoor supervision at recess as staff are occupied
elsewhere or on duty outside.
W
e ask that students dress appropriately; i.e.
coats, gloves, mitts, boots etc.. Where possible please put
identification (your child’s initials) on your child’s belongings. A
great idea for our younger students is to send an extra set of
clothes for the ―wet or muddy day accidents‖. If they are
dressed warmly, they are better prepared to participate in
outdoor activities during recess and noon hour. The heat has
been turned on in the school so layering the children’s clothing
is a good idea.
P
lease be advised that students are kept indoors at
recess during the winter only when the weather conditions are
extremely cold. (When the wind chill equivalent temperature is
minus 25 degrees Celsius or lower, as per school Board policy.)
The staff of St. Agnes extends best wishes to all
our families for a safe, peaceful and holy
Christmas season.
Merry Christmas
