Fall 2010
Above are student-veteran statistics
for Fall Semester 2010. Some of them warrant a closer look. There were 1,313 students who identified themselves as military
veterans. Of that number, 70% were fulltime while 30% were part-time students.

educational benefits was 72%. Only 15%
took advantage of the Hazlewood tuition
exemption for Texas veterans, and 7%
used both Hazlewood and the GI Bill. Also
noteworthy is the fact that our veterans’
average GPA compares favorably with the
rest of the student population.
