Application for Admissions, 3. Completed Hartnell Online Orientation
Services: ESL Placement, year-round assessments, day, evening and
weekend hours, 2 hour average assessment completion time, results

The Financial Aid Office offers a variety of services to help students meet the
cost of higher education. Services: Federal Aid (Pell, SEOG, FWS), State Aid;
(BOGW Fee Waiver, Cal Grant) and Workshops: Money Mondays, Cash for
College, and more!
Come to Foster & Kinship Care Education when you take care of a relative’s
child, think you’d like to care for a child in the “system”, care for another’s
child, and need to or want to improve your parenting skills.
HEP is a migrant education program designed to assist migrant and seasonal
field workers obtain their high school equivalency (HSE) and either
employment, military service, apprenticeship, certificate of skills acquisition,
certificate of achievement, or associates degree.
The Job Bank provides a current on-line listing of on and off campus
employment opportunities.
Library resources and services including Circulation Services, Computer and
Media Services, Reference Services, Technical Services, and an Information
Competency Center.
MESA Provides exposure opportunities, retention services, and academic
support necessary to ensure that educationally disadvantaged students excel
in math and science and graduate with math based degrees. Services:
Student Study Center, Peer Based Tutoring (MASH), Supplemental
Instruction, Transfer Planning and Workshops, Scholarships, Internships.
The Transfer and Career Center provides guidance in university transfer
information, career exploration, and job preparation. Services: Academic
Counseling, Transfer/Career Workshops, UC TAG, Self-Guided Career Planner,
UC/CSU/Private Representative Visits.
TRiO SSP is a federally funded student Retention/Transfer Pathway program.
Services: Pro-active Counseling, Tutoring in Math and English Courses, TRiO
workshops on Educational Planning, Career Planning, Financial Literacy,
Financial Aid and Scholarships, and more!
Tutorial Services provide students with qualified student tutors in various
academic areas. Tutors support a student's regular instructional program
through individual and small-group tutoring, providing support, motivation,
and encouragement. Services are FREE to all Hartnell College students. See

Hartnell's Veterans Services Center provides personalized and caring support
to Hartnell student veterans during their transition from military service to
college life. Services: VA Benefit Information, Academic Counseling, Campus
Resource Referrals, Informational and Awareness Workshops.
