GENERAL INFORMATION /
Health and Participant Acceptance: By forwarding deposit, the participant certifies
that he/she does not currently have any physical or other disability that would create a
hazard for themselves or others. Sovereign Tours reserves the right to decline to accept
or retain any person whose health, actions or deportment impede operation of the tour
and the rights or enjoyment of other participants.
Accommodations: Hotels are based on twin occupancy. Tour members occupying
single rooms, either by choice or circumstance, will be responsible for payment of a
single supplement.
Alterations to Published Arrangements: Sovereign Tours reserves the right to alter,
modify or withdraw the itinerary of any tour if air schedules, and/or events beyond its
control deem it necessary. Itinerary changes made by contractors abroad are beyond the
control of Sovereign Tours and should changes be made, the participant is bound
accordingly.
Itinerary Deviations: Any deviation from the published itinerary must be requested in
writing to Sovereign Tours as soon as possible, but no later than the 45 days prior to
departure. Surcharges are applicable. Sovereign assumes no liability or responsibility for
any participant deviating from the group tour. Participants arriving and departing
independently are responsible for their own transfers.
Not Included in Cost of the Tour: Airport or departure taxes (to be advised prior to
departure); visa fees not specifically mentioned; passport and photos are required; items
of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, etc.; beverages or items not
included in menus provided on a group basis; meals not indicated in the itinerary;
sightseeing tours other than those specifically included; excess baggage charges;
insurance; luggage handling in U.S. at beginning and end of trip; expenses due to flight
delays or other irregularities; gratuities to foreign guides, waiters, bus drivers, etc.
Tour Price: Tour price is based on land and air tariffs in effect as of August 15, 2014
and is subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of Sovereign Tours,
such as increase in air transportation, land costs, international rates of exchange or lack of
participation in the program. Any adjustment to the price for these reasons is not grounds
for withdrawal with full refund.
Baggage: Porterage and transportation of one suitcase per person is included
and may not exceed 62 inches or 50 lbs. A flight bag is permitted and must
remain in possession of participant at all times. All luggage is at “owner’s
risk” throughout the tour. Instructions for the purchase of baggage insurance
will be included with participant’s confirmation packet.
Cancellations: Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, addressed to
Sovereign Tours. The date the cancellation is received by Sovereign Tours
shall determine the cancellation date.IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

------------------------------------------TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BY SOVEREIGN TOURS THAT PARCIPANTS PURCHASE OPTIONAL TRIP
CANCELLATION INSURANCE. Instructions for the purchase of this insurance will
be included with the participant’s confirmation packet. The following cancellation
charges apply to all participants:
-- For cancellations received up to 121 days prior to departure, the cancellation fee is
$100.00.
-- For cancellations received between 121 and 91 days prior to departure, the
cancellation fee is $500.00
-- For cancellations received within 91 days prior to departure and the airline ticketing
date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total tour price, or $1,900.00, whichever is less.
-- There will be no refund for any tour accommodation, service not taken, or if
participant cancels, for any reason, after the airline tickets have been issued or while the
tour is in progress.
-- Participant’s failure to comply with payment schedule set forth in brochure may result
in cancellation from the tour with applicable penalty assessed per schedule above. Air
carriers do not refund if air is not used after ticketing.
-- If a tour program is cancelled by Sovereign Tours, for any reason, all monies paid by
participant will be returned in full with no further obligation on the part of Sovereign
Tours.
Responsibility: Sovereign Tours, it’s Tour Advisors and/or its agents assume no
responsibility or liability in connection with the service of any hotel, train, vessel,
carriage, aircraft, motor coach, or other conveyance which may be used wholly or in part,
in the performance of their duty to the passengers. Neither will they be responsible for
any act, error or omission, or for any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which
may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through neglect or default of
any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any delays, injuries,
damages or losses caused in connection with terrorist activities; or for any hotel
proprietor, or any person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or
coupons are issued. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or
well being of the passengers to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may
be made without penalty to the tour operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne
by the passengers. The sole responsibility of any airline used in any tour is limited to that
set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. Airlines and other carriers are
not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on
board their planes or conveyances. Similar responsibility as noted above applies to all
types of carriers.
This agreement becomes effective upon acceptance into the tour program by Sovereign
Tours.
