Friday: Mercy that Rejoices We hope to see many of you during our school celebrations Catholic Education Week May 2-6, 2016 Primary Grades Events Junior Grades Events Kindergarten students will be participating in a Faith Based Play Day on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the am. The Grade 2 classes will be building rosaries for themselves. The Grade 3’s (Jones, Protomanni, Pyczek) will be making cards for parishioners and other residents in local nursing homes commencing Monday, May 2, 2016. Intermediate Grades Events YFA’s will be running the Faith Based Activity Day for the Gr. 1-8 on Thursday, May 5, 2016. The Grade 4s in Ms. Berthiaume’s class are conducting Poetry Reading on Tuesday morning. Parents are welcome! The Grade 8’s will be leading the Hats off for Kidz walk on Monday, May 2, 2016. The Grade 8’s will be making their own Rosary’s throughout the week. Ms. Commisso/ Ms. Bartletta’s class will be having a classroom liturgy. Ms. MacDonald’s grade 4 class will be hosting a Variety Hour on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 1:302:30 pm. Parents are welcome! Mr. West’s grade 5 class will be presenting their Life Systems on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 9:3010:30 am. Parents are welcome! Mr. Basciano’s grade 5/6 class will be presenting their Human Body System Models. Mr. Pacheco’s grade 6 class will be doing a Fully Alive Commitment ceremony on Wednesday, April 4, 2016 from 11:45-12:15 pm. Lord our God, where two or three gather, you are there. Open our hearts so that we may hear your voice and grant us the courage to follow your will. Amen. Our SERC class will be presenting their Family Power-Point on Friday, May 6 from 9:15-10:30am. Parents are welcome! God of love, during this Easter season, we rejoice in the healing power of your mercy. Help us to let go of the things that paralyze us and by your mercy, heal the wounds of our hearts. Guide us in ways that free us to be the joyful people we are called to be.
