September 5, 2014 WE DID IT!! We have completed our first week of First Grade!!! I am proud to say that even with the heat in full force earlier in the week your child was AWESOME! I enjoyed my first week of getting to know your child. We are going to have lots of fun this year! Please remember, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me by putting a note in your child`s binder or email me at kurnikma@npenn.org. Next week we are diving into our lessons and starting with our first anthology story. Birthdays will soon be coming up in our classrooms. This year it is highly encouraged that if you would like to send in something from home to celebrate your child’s birthday that it be nonedible. Little trinkets from the dollar store such as pencils or erasers would be a great alternative. Thank you for your support!
