All capitalized terms in this description have the meaning ascribed to them in the Glossary of Terms. Service Summary Direct Sale from Cisco. If you have purchased these Services directly from Cisco for your own internal use, this document is incorporated into your Master Services Agreement, Advanced Services Agreement, or other services agreement covering the purchase of Advanced Servicesbased services with Cisco ("Master Agreement") If no such Master Agreement exists, then this Service Description will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth in the Terms & Conditions Agreement posted at http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/legal/terms_c onditions.html. If you have purchased these Services directly from Cisco for resale purposes, this document is incorporated into your System Integrator Agreement or other services agreement covering the resale of Advanced Services (“Master Resale Agreement”). If the Master Resale Agreement does not contain the terms for the Purchase and Resale of Cisco Advanced Services or equivalent terms and conditions, then this Service Description will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Master Resale Agreement and those terms and conditions set forth in the SOW Resale Terms & Conditions Agreement posted at: http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/legal/terms_c onditions.html. For purposes of the SOW Resale Terms and Conditions this Service Description shall be deemed as a Statement of Work (“SOW”). In the event of a conflict between this Service Description and the Master Agreement or equivalent services exhibit or agreement, this Service Description shall govern. Sale via Cisco Authorized Reseller. If you have purchased these Services through a Cisco Authorized Reseller, this document is for description purposes only; is not a contract between you and Cisco. The contract, if any, governing the provision of this Service will be the one between you and your Cisco Authorized Reseller. Your Cisco Authorized Reseller should provide this document to you, or you can obtain a copy of this and other Cisco service descriptions at www.cisco.com/go/servicedescriptions/. Cisco Deployment Service for Cisco Prime Network (CPN) Startup provides Design, Installation and Configuration services (“Services”) to Customer for Cisco Prime Network (CPN) in their environment for one (1) of the following network deployments: Carrier Ethernet: Device mix - 2% provider devices, 8% network provider edge, 80% user provider edge, 10% customer edge. MPLS: Device mix - 5% core routers, 90% Provider Edge and 5% customer premises equipment. IP-RAN: Device mix - 15% aggregation, 30% cell sites, 55% Layer 2 switches. Once Customer selects the one (1) network deployment, the same selected network deployment cannot be changed or swapped by Customer at any time during duration of Services. Services are applicable to new CPN implementations only. Deliverables As-built Document Acceptance Test Plan TOI Presentation (slide deck) Location of Services Services are delivered remotely and on site to Customer. Planning Phase Cisco Responsibilities Provide the pre-installation guide to Customer. Review with Customer the pre-installation guide and answer any applicable questions regarding review of the guide. Customer Responsibilities Review with Cisco the pre-installation guide. Designate key contacts and authorized personnel including network architects, system/application administrators and IT engineers who shall be available for on-going information gathering and feedback during the Services. Provide documentation and information including: (a) current network topology, including access, distribution, and core layers, types of switches and routers (b) Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and sub-netting for each device planned to be managed along with device access information (c) features and services that have been enabled on the network. Implementation Phase Customer Responsibilities Cisco Responsibilities Conduct a project kick off meeting. Install one (1) instance of Cisco Prime Network Gateway and embedded Oracle Data Base on one (1) Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) blade or server and one (1) instance of Unit Server on another Cisco UCS blade or server. The Cisco UCS blades or servers hardware should run RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), either on a baremetal or Virtual Machine (VM), based on the VMware configuration. Cisco will configure CPN to use the embedded Oracle database. Perform the following configuration tasks: o configure system to support up to two hundred (200) supported network devices; o Add up to three (3) scopes; o Add up to five (5) users with user roles available in CPN (role mapping identified during the planning phase) and assign them to the relevant scopes; o configure CPN to support an event rate of up to twenty (20) events per second (EPS); o load up to twenty (20) supported network devices in CPN and create up to three (3) maps in Network Vision; o provide installation and configuration of CPN clients on one (1) Windows desktop. Provide Customer with any recommendations for device configuration settings on each device family / series basis. Update the As-built Document based on the system installation and configuration. Perform acceptance testing; and, provide test plan and results. Create Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) document for the services based on the selected technology. Review Acceptance Test Plan document with Customer; and, provide the final version of the document. Execute Acceptance Test Plan with Customer and record the results. Conduct acceptance testing on site for up to eight (8) hours. Create As-built Document for services for the selected technology. Review As-built Document with the Customer; and, provide the final version of the document. Participate in the project kick off meeting, providing representation from applicable technical teams. Prepare the UCS servers or blades for the application installation including: rack/stack, power-up, installing operating system, applying any operating system patches and connecting the servers to the network. If CPN is installed on a virtual machine (VM) (based on VMware), Customer is responsible for configuring the VM per the specification, installing the Guest operating system, applying any applicable operating system patches, and connecting the VM to the network. Open the applicable firewall ports to access CPN web, desktop clients and firewall ports for CPN to connect to the devices. Provide remote access to CPN server for configuring the system; remote access should be through a VPN or similar method; site-to-site VPN is not supported. Configure applicable devices to forward network events to CPN. Configure network devices with any additional recommended configuration settings as provided by Cisco. Review the Acceptance Test Plan Document with Cisco. Participate in the execution of the Acceptance Test Plan providing any applicable feedback. Schedule the necessary facilities for on site Acceptance Testing including conference rooms, projectors, and network connectivity. Review the As-built Document with Cisco. Knowledge Transfer Phase Cisco Responsibilities Create Transfer of Information (TOI) slide deck for the presentation in the on site session. Provide for up to five (5) Customer stakeholders an on site TOI session for up to eight (8) hours to include information on application usage, device discovery and customization capabilities. Provide the TOI Presentation slide deck materials to Customer. Provide up to sixteen (16) hours of remote support over a maximum period of two (2) consecutive weeks for any questions or troubleshooting issues related to the CPN implementation; remote support will commence on the following day after the implementation. Customer Responsibilities Identify up to five (5) Customer stakeholders to participate in the on site TOI session. Work with Cisco to schedule the on site Transfer of Information (TOI) session. Contact Cisco project manager for follow-up questions after TOI completion. General Customer Responsibilities All information (such as but not limited to: designs, topologies, requirements) provided by Customer is assumed to be up-to-date and valid for the Customer’s Customer acknowledges that the completion of Services is dependent upon Customer meeting its responsibilities as indicated herein. Identify Customer’s personnel and define their roles in the participation of the Services. Such personnel may include but is not limited to: architecture design and planning engineers, and network engineers. Ensure Customer’s personnel are available to participate during the course of the Services to provide information and to participate in scheduled information gathering sessions, interviews, meetings and conference calls. Support services provided by Cisco comprise technical advice, assistance and guidance only. Customer expressly understands and agrees that the Services shall take place and complete within ninety (90) calendar days from issuing a Purchase Order to Cisco for the Services herein. Customer expressly understands and agrees that the Services shall commence within a period of fifteen (15) Business Days from issuing a Purchase Order to Cisco for the Services herein. Customer to notify Cisco of any scheduling changes related to this project at least ten (10) Business Days of the scheduled activity. Customer acknowledges that Acceptance Testing and TOI Presentation will be scheduled as two (2) consecutive activities with the TOI Presentation directly following Acceptance Testing. Customer expressly understands that Services exclude: a) high availability setup for Gateway or Unit or both; b) migration or upgrade from previous and/or current versions, where the installation is completed on a “new” or “clean” server; c) special functions or customizations, including service activation, command builder, soft properties and network change and configuration management (NCCM); d) new virtual network element (VNE) development; e) VNE customizations such as soft properties, Command Builder, threshold crossing alarms (TCAs) or bulk VNE load; f) external integrations with operations support systems (OSS) and other Cisco Prime Network applications; g) use of site-to-site VPN for remote system access. Invoicing and Completion Invoicing Services will be invoiced upon completion of the Services. Completion of Services Cisco will provide written notification upon completion of the Services to Customer. The Customer shall within five (5) Business Days of receipt of such notification provide written acknowledgement of Cisco’s completion of the Services. Customer’s failure to acknowledge completion of the Services or to provide reasons for rejection of the Services within the five (5) Business Day period signifies Customer’s acceptance of completion of the Services in accordance with this Service Description.
