Service Description: Cisco Threat Awareness Service
This document describes Cisco Threat Awareness Service.

Escalation Guidelines. All capitalized terms in this description
have the meaning ascribed to them in the Glossary of Terms.
Direct Sale from Cisco. If you have purchased these
Services directly from Cisco, this document is incorporated into
your Master Services Agreement (MSA), Advanced Services
Agreement (ASA) or equivalent services agreement executed
between you and Cisco. In the event of a conflict between this
Service Description and your MSA or equivalent services
agreement, this Service Description shall govern.
Sale via Cisco Authorized Reseller. If you have purchased
these Services through a Cisco Authorized Reseller, this
document is for description purposes only; is not a contract
between you and Cisco. The contract, if any, governing the
provision of this Service will be the one between you and your
Cisco Authorized Reseller. Your Cisco Authorized Reseller
should provide this document to you, or you can obtain a copy
of this and other Cisco service descriptions at
www.cisco.com/go/servicedescriptions/.
Provide Customer with access to threat intelligence
information through a Web-based portal (“Portal”), hosted
by Cisco.
•
Cisco will provide threat awareness data for Customer’s
external network. The threat data intelligence will be
generated daily and made available at the Portal along
with proposed recommended actions to address mitigation
of threat(s). Threat awareness reporting will be made
available in the form of graphs, tables and exportable data

Portal Support. Cisco will provide technical support 24
hours per day, 7 days per week via email or phone for the
purpose of troubleshooting issues related to the Portal.
Such support will be provided in English.
•
Limitation. Cisco does not guarantee the accuracy of the
threat intelligence data or guarantee effectiveness of
mitigation recommendations. Detection and reporting of
incidents is subject to the Customer’s network
environment and many other factors outside Cisco’s
control. Cisco is not responsible for any investigation
and/or mitigation of incident.

Portal Maintenance. From time to time, Cisco performs
scheduled maintenance, to update the servers and
software that are used to provide the Service. Cisco will
make all reasonable attempts to notify Customer in
advance of any planned downtime or scheduled
maintenance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Customer
acknowledges that Cisco may, in certain situations, need
to perform emergency maintenance without providing
advance notice.

Cisco shall provide the Cisco Threat Awareness Service
described below as selected and detailed on the Purchase
Order for which Cisco has been paid the appropriate fee.

Customer Responsibilities
•
Customer will provide IP Addresses and Domain names
for all devices and/or locations for threat correlation
performed under this Service.
•
Customer will complete necessary actions and/or provide
required information to provide authorization for ownership
of IP Addresses and Domain names.
•
Customer is responsible for any access connection to the
Internet or any equipment necessary to make such
connection in order to receive Services.
