7th Grade - Paper Book Design
Criteria:
 Select a Theme for your book. All pages should relate
directly to your choice of theme. -10 points
The Book:
 Your book will have 6 total pages, plus the front cover and
back cover. Each of the 6 pages should show subjects
appropriate or relating to your “Theme”. Be original. Think
creatively. Craftsmanship is always #1!
60 points
**REMINDER, the “Theme” is the overall category or idea.
“Subject” is more of what you see on each page.
On The Cover:
 Title of your book with an interesting lettering and “Name”
of the author (you)
 You need a FABULOUS COVER DESIGN. That’s what draws
your attention before reading it! - 30 points
Directions:
1. Make the book following Mrs. Going’s direction sheet.
2. Use pencil first to draw and design the cover and all pages.
3. Determine what color scheme you would like, or you can
keep it black / white. Black pen or marker, not pencil.
4. Now, complete and or add materials of your choice!
